Electrical Certificate of Compliance (CoC)
Full inspection and CoC for sale, transfer, insurance or bond conditions — issued by a Department of Labour-registered electrical contractor.
Dept of Labour-registered electricians for compliance, repairs, inverters and solar.
Load-shedding made backup power non-negotiable. Property transfers make Electrical CoCs non-negotiable. And the wrong inverter, sized by a salesman instead of an electrician, costs you twice. MultiMan handles all of it — with Department of Labour-registered electricians, one accountable project lead, and quotes you can compare line-by-line.

Selling or transferring a property and need a valid Electrical CoC
Tripping DB board, dimming lights, burnt-smell sockets
Need backup power but confused by the inverter sales pitch
Solar quote from a salesman that doesn't add up
Lightning or surge damage that needs an insurance report
Full inspection and CoC for sale, transfer, insurance or bond conditions — issued by a Department of Labour-registered electrical contractor.
Earth leakage replacements, breaker upgrades, surge protection, neat re-labelling and a tested, safe board.
Tripping circuits, dead plugs, burnt sockets, intermittent faults — diagnosed with proper test equipment, not guesswork.
Sized to your geyser, fridge, Wi-Fi and lights — not over-sold. Sunsynk, Deye, Victron, Mecer — installed cleanly with a labelled changeover.
On-grid, hybrid and off-grid solar. NRS 097-2-1 compliant. Municipal SSEG paperwork handled with the City of Cape Town (covering Somerset West, Strand and Gordon's Bay) and Stellenbosch Municipality.
Storm-damage assessments, surge protection devices and insurer-ready damage reports.
We measure the actual load — not what the brochure claims — and look at your DB board, roof and cable runs.
A right-sized system with a clear line-by-line quote: panels, inverter, batteries, cabling, labour, CoC and SSEG paperwork.
Cable management you'd be happy to show off. Roof penetrations sealed and warrantied.
Test, commission, issue your CoC and SSEG paperwork, and walk you through the app so you actually understand your system.
Every install is signed off by a registered electrical contractor — the only CoCs South African banks and insurers accept.
All grid-tied and hybrid solar installs comply with NRS 097-2-1 and your municipality's SSEG rules.
Our electricians aren't paid more to sell you a bigger inverter. You get the system that fits your home.
Plus full manufacturer warranties on panels (typically 25 yr), inverters (5–10 yr) and batteries (5–10 yr).
Fixed inspection fee per property size. Minor remedial work quoted separately and approved before we touch anything.
Essentials backup (lights, Wi-Fi, TV, fridge) typically R45k–R85k installed. Whole-home hybrid from R120k. Written quote, no hidden extras.
5kW hybrid systems from R145k installed including CoC and SSEG. We'll show you the payback maths on real Eskom and municipal tariffs.
Indicative. Every job gets a written, fixed-price quote before any work starts.
“Three solar quotes ranged R165k–R310k. MultiMan came in at R178k, explained every line, and installed it in two days. Two winters in, zero issues.”
“CoC done in a day for our transfer. Picked up two genuine issues I needed to know about, didn't invent five fake ones to inflate the bill.”
“Inverter changeover board is honestly the neatest electrical work I've ever seen.”

Yes. Every electrical installation and inspection is signed off by a registered electrical contractor and issued with a Certificate of Compliance valid for the property transfer, insurance claim or bank requirement.
An Electrical CoC is valid for 2 years from issue, provided no material changes have been made to the installation. If you've added a pool pump, geyser, inverter or solar after the CoC was issued, a new one is required.
It depends on which appliances you want to keep running and for how long. We walk every site, measure your real load with a clamp meter, and size for that — not for the biggest invoice. Most homes need less than the salesman quoted.
On current Eskom and most municipal tariffs in SA, a well-sized hybrid solar system typically pays back in 4 to 7 years and runs for 20+. We'll show you the maths against your actual bills before you decide.
Yes — we manage the full SSEG application with the City of Cape Town (for Somerset West, Strand and Gordon's Bay) and Stellenbosch Municipality, including the engineer's sign-off, single-line diagram and bi-directional meter requirements.
Yes. After Highveld summer storms and Cape winter fronts we install Type 1+2 surge protection devices at the DB board and issue insurer-ready reports for any equipment damaged in the strike.
